We seek to give hope to struggling families by providing them with free basic care items such as soap, deodorant, toothpaste, toilet paper, etc. and baby care items and by giving them a place to share their burdens and renew their spirits. Our services are available to anyone in need.
The items we provide generally cannot be purchased with nutrition assistance funds (a.k.a. “food stamps”). Most people do not realize that these basic necessities, essential to success in school, finding work, and building a successful life, are not eligible. This mistaken belief has resulted in a large and growing unserved need.
Throughout the year, we also coordinate special and seasonal projects for our clients such as clothing, blanket, and coat drives; free school supplies and backpacks in August; and holiday assistance in December.
We aim to help reduce generational poverty by helping our client families build faith and confidence that they have a bright future and that they can provide a better life for their families.
Currently we are able to serve about 500 families representing about 2,000 people through our locations in League City and Baytown, unfortunately the need extends far beyond that. There are literally 1000's more hurting people nearby that we have yet to reach. We rely primarily on individual donors and volunteers, and we can't help others without your help.
We are a 501(c)(3) organization, so your donations are tax deductible to the maximum extent allowed by law. We are all-volunteer run, and 100% of your donations go directly towards serving our clients. Thank you for your generous support.
